CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Lee University Athletics is partnering with D-BAT and Fore Seasons in Cleveland to provide indoor facilities for the baseball, softball, and golf teams at Lee. D-BAT and Fore Seasons built a new facility in Cleveland that opened in February of 2026.

D-BAT was founded in 1998 in Addison, Texas. In 2009 the D-BAT team decided to expand Starting with just 3 locations in their first year, it has grown to now over 145 locations. In Cleveland, the new facility opened in 2026 under the direction of Jason Sewell.

"D-BAT Cleveland is excited to partner with Lee University Athletics to provide a premier, state of art indoor facility for their baseball and softball teams to be able to use when needed," said Sewell. "We believe this partnership is a win-win for both parties and will not only enhance the opportunities for current players but will also be a great asset to include and show to potential recruits."

Fore Seasons Golf is dedicated to offering an indoor golf experience with top-tier technology. They have three state-of-the-art bays featuring Trackman, the industry leader in golf simulation. They share a facility by D-BAT and is under the direction of Shane Melton.

"Fore Seasons is excited to partner with Lee University's men's and women's golf programs," said Melton. "Lee University is interwoven into the fabric of Cleveland and the chance to work with them is a privilege.  We look forward to providing state of the art Trackman bays so Lee's student-athletes have a place to fine tune their games at an indoor facility. We believe this will be a long-term partnership and prove beneficial for both Lee University and Fore Seasons.

In the partnership, Lee Athletics will use the facilities all throughout the year as a support facility. Athletic Director John Maupin is excited for the opportunities for the partnership. "Aligning with D-BAT and Fore Seasons allows us to continue raising the standard across Lee Athletics by providing additional year-round training spaces. Their commitment to quality and performance mirrors our own, and these partnerships will play an important role in supporting our baseball, softball, and golf teams at a high level."
