BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Francisco Guimarães was named GSC Tennis Freshman of the Week after a strong start to the season. The Lee University men's tennis freshman helped lead the Flames to a win over Delta State University on Saturday.

Guimarães was a part of #3 doubles with Rytis Razminas and they won 6-4. He also won #5 singles 7-5, 6-3.
