PALM BEACH, Fla. –The Lee University lacrosse team dropped their second straight game in the Sunshine State 20-4 to Palm Beach Atlantic University on Thursday. PBA scored six goals in the first quarter and never looked back in the win. Lee fell to 4-6 on the season and will return home on Wednesday, March 18 for a game against Lewis University.
Three of Lee's four goals came in the second quarter. Their other goal came in the third. PBA outscored Lee 6-0 in the first, 7-3 in the second, 5-1 in the third, and 2-0 in the fourth.
Lanie Carroll and Lily Tomczik each had two goals for Lee. Kamille Kremkau had one assist while Tayor McGovern had three assists.
Savannah Weisman made eight saves in goal while Sydney Mayo played eight minutes and did not have a save.
PBA outshot Lee 36-12 in the game and 28-7 with shot on target. The Sailfish doubled up the Lady Flames in draw controls at 14-7. Lee had 20 turnovers while PBA had 12.
