RESULTS

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Lee University women's track & field team placed first out of 25 teams this weekend at the Lee University Fast Break Athletics Invitational. The two-day meet was held at Lee's Ray Conn Sports Complex.

The Lady Flames collected eight new NCAA Division II Provisional marks on their way to amassing 182 points. Saginaw Valley was second with 69 points and East Tennessee State University was third with 53 points.
 
Provisional Qualifying Performances:

• Maddox Mayfield completed the 400-meter dash in 54.32 seconds to beat the provisional standard of 55.49. Her time is 12^th among DII athletes this season.
• Aria Hawkins crossed the finish line of the 800-meter run at 2:10.12. She beat the qualifying time of 2:11.25. Her time is No. 19 on this year's performance list.
• Aria Hawkins also met the provisional mark in the 1500-meter run. Her time of 4:18.64 beat the provisional mark of 4:28.93 and is the second-fastest time posted this outdoor season.
• Maria Mitchell posted the third-fastest time in the 5000-meter run this year. Her time of 16:19.76 was well below the qualifying time of 16:53.98.
• Ava Sparks recorded a time of 10:56.66 in the 3000-meter steeplechase. The time to beat was 10:59.02. Her time puts her at No. 23 among DII qualifiers.
• Addison Kohlmeier cleared 3.87 meters to exceed the standard of 3.79 meters in the pole vault. Her mark is 21^st-best in the event this season.
• Gracie Waite threw the shot put 14.11 meters to go beyond the qualifying standard of 13.89 meters. The mark is No. 24 this season.
• Samara Brinks met the qualifying mark of 53.02 meters in the hammer throw with a toss of 53.92 meters. Her performance is No. 20 on the performance list.
