BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After the Lee University baseball team went 4-0 last week, Luke Collier was named the Gulf South Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league on Tuesday. It is the first time that Collier has earned the award.
Collier had a big week as the Flames beat the University of North Georgia and swept the University of West Florida in three games. He hit .563 going 9-for-16. He had six RBI and two runs scored. He had three doubles, one triple, and one home run. He slugged 1.063 and had an on base percentage of .611. He was walked once and only had one strikeout.
