Flames Add Two New Provisionals At Lee Last Chance

RESULTS

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Lee University men's track & field team competed in the Lee Last Chance Saturday afternoon at the Ray Conn Sports Complex on the penultimate date of competition to qualify for the 2026 NCAA Division II National Championships.

The Flames added two new provisional marks with Pierre Chauveau meeting the standard in the 1500-meter run and Parker Campbell doing the same in the 3000-meter steeplechase on Saturday. With one day of competition remaining, the Flames have posted 11 provisional-qualifying marks with three of those inside the top 15 of their respective events.

 
Provisional Qualifying Performances:
  • Pierre Chauveau placed first with a time of 3:43.62 in the 1500-meter run to meet the provisional mark of 3:47.14. His time is No. 22 on the national performance list.
  • Parker Campbell recorded a first-place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:56.01. The standard to meet was 9:10.72. His time is the 12th-fastest reported this season.

Coming Up:
Sunday, May 10 is the final date a qualifying mark may be made. Results submissions are due to the Track and Field Results-Reporting System (TFRRS) by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time. Declarations for the 2026 NCAA Division II National Championships are due on Monday with the Championships fields posted online at NCAA.com by 6 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday.

The national committee selects student-athletes from the declared descending-order list for each event. For each event the top 22 in individual events, top 16 in combined events and top 16 relays will be accepted into the competition.
