NORMAN, Okla. – Lee University's Drew Zielinski, who was previously named a First Team 2026 NCAA Division II PING All-America Team, is joined by teammates Bennett McNabb as a Second Team member and George Cordall as Honorable Mention All-American.
The elite field which was announced by the GCAA included eight First Team members. McNabb joined seven other Second Team golfers, and Cordall is listed with a total of 28 others who were named Honorable Mention All-America. The GCAA began naming NCAA Division II All-Americans in 1975, with PING sponsoring the award since 1991.
All three senior All-Americans were leaders of the Lee team that shot a blistering 16-under- par round in a semifinal loss to Division II National Champion Florida Southern. The threesome recorded an under-par average (72) for the season. Zielinski posted 70.58 strokes per round average, Bennett a 70.90 and George a 71.56.
"I could not be prouder of these three seniors and all they have accomplished though out their careers – this season specifically," said Coach Evan Spence. "The All-American team is a huge accomplished and to have three guys named to that list in any capacity in a single season is something I am very proud of. Those guys earned it."
