Josh Laatsch is in his first year as Lee men's basketball assistant coach.
He joined head coach Bubba Smith's staff after a successful playing career at West Florida, where he was team captain from 2014-2017. Laatsch graduated from West Florida with a Sport Management degree in 2017 and a Masters of Education in 2019.
He spent the last four years as the head coach at Arnold High School in Panama City Beach, Fla. where heÂ
led the program to its first back-to-back double-digit win seasons since 2007.
Laatsch is originally from Birmingham, Ala. He resides in Cleveland with his wife Ginny, and two sons, Josiah (3) and Noah (1).
