Lee University outside hitter Silvia Sartori (Fr.; Belgrade, Serbia) claimed Gulf South Conference (GSC) Freshman of the Week honors this past week.

The freshman from Belgrade, Serbia had a double-double in all three matches last week for the Lady Flames. She had 16 kills, 18 digs versus Christian Brothers, 10 kills and 10 digs against West Florida and posted 14 and 14 toward Valdosta State.

Sartori leads the team with 114 kills and 18 service aces in 35 sets played this season.

Sartori and the Lady Flames will head on the road for two conference matches this weekend. On Friday Lee battles West Alabama at 7 p.m. before visiting West Georgia on Saturday (7 p.m.).
