BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Lee women's basketball player Lindsey Roddy has been selected as the GSC Freshman of the Week.
Roddy, from Maryville, Tenn. and William Blount High Schoo,  is the third different Lady Flame to earn this award, and it is the fourth overall week that someone from Lee has been named GSC Freshman of the Week.
Roddy averaged 13.0 points per game, including 18 points in the win over West Florida, who currently sits atop the league standings.
She also averaged 5.7 rebounds per game. Her best performance on the glass also came against the first place Argonauts, grabbing eight boards in the victory.
Roddy and the Lady Flames (11-4, 6-3) will travel to North Alabama on Thursday at 7 p.m. before returning home on Saturday to host Alabama Hunstville at 2 p.m.Â
