Josiah Brooks took home three wins and a second place finish to help guide the Lee men's track and field team to a first place finish at the Emory Indoor Invitational last Sunday.

Brooks placed first in the Triple Jump and 200-Meter Dash. He covered 15.12 meters in the Triple Jump and posted a time of 21.50 in the 200. The junior also placed second in the 60-Meter Dash with a time of 6.79.

Brooks teamed with his brother Justin, Jeremiah McCain and Siphosethu Boya to win the 4x400-Meter Relay. The foursome combined for a time of 3:15.10 to win by a little over a second. The time met the provisional qualifying standard of 3:16.99 and is a new Lee record.

Brooks, a senior from Athens, Ga., will lead the Flames into the Camel City Invitational on Feb. 1-2. The event takes place in Winston Salem, N.C. and is hosted by Wake Forest University.
