CLINTON, Miss. – The Lee volleyball team posted its second Gulf South Conference road win of the season on Saturday, turning back host Mississippi College 3-1 (25-22, 25-23, 20-25, 25-23). The victory improved the Lady Flames record to 4-6 in GSC play and 7-8 overall.

Consistent play by the Lee front line helped produce the win. Crystal Dedes, who posted the final set winning kill, paced the Lady Flames with 11 kills and a solid .435 attack percentage. She got plenty of help from Silvia Sartori, who came away with her usual double-double, 10 kills, 15 digs and two aces.

Brooke Wilsman (9 kills, 15 digs, 2 blocks) joined Catherine Conley (9 kills, .368 attack percentage, 2 blocks) and Carly Callahan (8 kills) in helping the front line secure the victory. The attacks were made possible by 25 assists by Sadie Johnson and 22 from Kristi Farley. MaKayla Beebe continued her solid defensive play with 23 digs and also contributed two aces.

The Choctaws battled the Lady Flames, thanks to 11 kills by Jessica Campbell, 24 assists from Bailee Berringer and 20 digs by Madison Kimes.
