As evenly contested as the fifth set was the other four sets were far from close. Bailey Kress delivered five of her career-high 15 slams in the first as Lee jumped on the home team early, winning set one 25-11.
The Hawks woke up in the second and third games however and returned the favor by defeating the Lady Flames, 25-15 and 25-18.
Coach Andrea Hudson's club would not go away quietly though as it jumped out to an 11-4 lead on its way to an easy 25-17 win in set four.
