INDIANAPOLIS – The Lee University women's lacrosse team made its first road trip in the program's existence and were handed a 22-1 loss at the hands of host University of Indianapolis. The Lady Flames dropped to 0-2 on the season, while the Greyhounds improved to 2-0.
Brianne Schapira recorded Lee's goal with 8:53 remaining in the second half. It was the junior's fourth of the season.
The Lady Flames return to South Quad Field on Feb. 22 to open Gulf South Conference action against Young Harris College. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
