"Nothing is easy this time of year and we knew that CBU was going to defend hard and are well coached. I thought we managed the game well and played with intensity and were able turn away there run in the second half," said Lee head coach Bubba Smith. "This is the time of year you want to be playing your best basketball and I think we are figuring out how to be the best version of our team. The lineup changes have helped, and we have several guys that can come in and but the ball in the basket."
The Flames shot 48.3 percent from the field and held a 34-30 advantage on the boards.
Daniel Loos led the Bucs with a game-high 1 points. Aiden Ruthsatz was the only other player in double figures with 11.

"We are excited to get chance to battle with Union again on Saturday," noted Smith. "Despite our loss to them earlier this year I felt like the way we played at their place really helped turn our season around."
The Flames will wrap up the regular season on Saturday as they host rival Union University at 4 p.m. Lee will honor seniors Quay Kennedy and Jason Landman in a special ceremony prior to the start of the game.
