BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- After a strong week for the Lee University volleyball team, freshman Payton Danley was named Gulf South Conference freshman of the week as announced by the league.

The Buford, Ga. native had 28 kills this week averaging 3.11 a set. She also had four digs and 11 blocks. She had three solo blocks and eight block assists.

The Lady Flames will host Christian Brothers University on Tuesday to end a five game homestand before heading to Alabama for two games this weekend.
