FULL ALL-AMERICA LIST

NEW ORLEANS – The Lee University Women's Track & Field team added two more All-America honors to the program's tally when the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its honorees for the 2024 NCAA DII Outdoor Track & Field season this past week.

Student-athletes earned First Team USTFCCCA All-American honors by finishing among the top-eight of their respective events – including as a member of a relay team – at the 2024 NCAA DII Outdoor Track & Field Championships last weekend in Emporia, Kansas.

Second-team selections were given to those athletes who finished in spots Nos. 9-12 in individual events.

McKenna Cavanaugh earned First Team All-America in the Steeplechase, while Aria Hawkins grabbed Second Team All-America in the 1500-meter Run. Cavanaugh was sixth in the Steeplechase, following a 10th-place time in the preliminary round. Hawkins placed 10th in the 1500 after advancing to the event final with the fifth-best time in the preliminaries.
