Masengu Meets Provisional Mark at Music City Challenge

NASHVILLE, Tenn.
– The Lee University men's track & field team had four athletes compete at the Music City Challenge this weekend at Vanderbilt's Multipurpose Facility. The Flames added another NCAA Division II Provisional mark in their final meet before the Gulf South Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on February 20-21.

Nokia Masengu finished eighth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.17 seconds. His time met the standard of 48.42 seconds. David Johnson placed 37th in the unseeded 400 race. He crossed the finish line at 51.18.

Camden Williams recorded a throw of 14.42 meters in the shot put to place 15th. Williams also finished 17th in the weight throw with a measurement of 16.01 meters. Braxton Philpott posted a mark of 14.74 meters for 24th place in the weight throw.
