RESULTS
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lee University women's track & field team had five athletes compete at the Music City Challenge this weekend at Vanderbilt's Multipurpose Facility. The Lady Flames met three NCAA Division II Provisional marks and posted their best in one event in their final meet before the Gulf South Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on February 20-21.
Ana Patricia Campos met the standard of 4:55.64 in the mile with a 24
th-place finish of 4:53.08.
Graice Waite placed eighth with a mark of 13.78 meters in the shot put to tie her best throw of the season when she first met the provisional last weekend at the UAB Green and Gold Invite.
Brynn Depinet went over 3.72 meters to finish 10
th in the pole vault. Her mark met the provisional standard but didn't improve upon her height of 3.81 meters from the UAB Green and Gold Invite.
Liz Lannom completed the 60-meter hurdles in 8.98 seconds. Her time put her in 44
th overall. She also cleared 1.63 meters to finish 15
th in the high jump.
Jydia Faucette recorded a sixth-place finish in the long jump. She covered 5.47 meters in her first of six attempts.
