Lady Flames Collect Three Provisional Marks at Raleigh Relays

Ashlyn Iliff just missed meeting the provisional mark in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
RESULTS

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Lee University women's track & field team sent four athletes to compete at the Raleigh Relays. The event was held at North Carolina State University's Paul Derr Track and Field Facility.

In all, the Lee women met three NCAA Division II Provisional marks and just missed hitting a fourth.

Leading the way was Ana Patricia Campos who finished 12th in the 10000-meter. She crossed the finish line at 34:25.64 to meet the provisional mark of 36:12.34. Her time is the top time reported in Division II so far this season.

Lily Hare and Estella Clemons each met the provisional standard of 4:30.17 in the 1500-meter. Hare placed 96th (4:28.77) and Clemons was 102nd (4:29.03). Hare is 11th and Clemons is 12th on the DII performance list.

Ashlyn Iliff was Lee's representative in the 3000-meter steeplechase Friday evening. She crossed the finish line at 11:02. 37 (49th). Her time was 1.86 seconds shy of meeting the provisional time of 11:00.51.

The Lady Flames return to action next weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee, at the Tennessee Invite. The meet will be held April 4-5 at Tom Black Track at LaPorte Stadium.
