BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After each earning NCAA DII provisional marks at the home Flames-Fast Break Invitational, Ashlyn Iliff and Estella Clemons each earned a weekly award from the Gulf South Conference. Iliff was named GSC track athlete of the week while Clemons was the freshman of the week.

Iliff, a Lee University senior, earned a provisional mark this past weekend. In her event, she ran the 3000-meter steeple chase in 10:51.33 which is the fastest time in the GSC so far this season.

Clemons ran the 800-meter time in 2:11.56 which made the DII mark and is second fastest in the GSC so far this year.
