BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After a successful Raleigh Relays, Lee University track athletes Ana Patricia Campos and Estella Clemons each earned a weekly award from the Gulf South Conference as announced by the league on Wednesday. Campos earned her second straight GSC track athlete of the week while Clemons was named freshman of the week for the first time.
 

Campos ran the 10,000-meter race this week completing it in 34:25.64. She hit a NCAA DII provisional mark and i the second fastest time in NCAA DII so far this season.

Clemons ran in the 1500-meter run and she also hit a NCAA DII provisional mark. She completed the race in 4:29.03 and has the 15th fastest tim in DII.
