Lady Flames Competitive at Tennessee Invite

RESULTS

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Lee University women's track & field team took a short trip this weekend to compete at the 2025 Tennessee Invite. The meet was held Friday and Saturday at Tom Black Track at LaPorte Stadium on the campus of the University of Tennessee.

Four Lady Flames entered the 100-meter dash. Liz Lannom stopped the clock at 11.93 seconds to place 19th. Jydia Faucette finished 29th (12.14), Ane Peasley (12.62) was 38th and Brynn Depinet crossed at 12.84 seconds (42nd).

Maddox Mayfield placed 32nd in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.34 seconds. Liezl Theron's time of 25.84 put her at 42nd place. Theron added a 12th-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.87 seconds, while Faucette completed the 400-meter hurdles in 1:05.42 (14th).

Katie Beam and Abi Moore each finished in the top 15 of the 800-meter run. Beam was sixth at 2:15.18 and Moore was 13th (2:19.92). Lyndi Chapman, Katie Krueger and Kaylee Estridge were Lee's representatives in the 1500-meter run. Chapman covered the distance in 4:49.43 for 18th place. Krueger (4:49.97) was 19th and Estridge finished 23rd (4:53.25).

Emily Liddle placed 10th in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 12:37.00.

Faucette, Sydney White, Peasley and Lannom teamed up to place sixth in the 4x100-meter relay with a combined time of 47.68 seconds. White, Lannom, Estella Clemons and Mayfield were third with a time of 3:52.69 in the 4x400-meter relay.

Theron and Lannom placed in the top six of the high jump. Theron cleared 1.65 meters for second place and Lannom finished sixth with a mark of 1.55 meters.

Depinet posted a clearance of 3.61 meters to place seventh in the pole vault. Theron and Faucette were 17th and 18th, respectively, in the long jump. Theron covered 5.55 meters and Faucette was just behind at 5.54 meters.

Gracie Waite was Lee's top performer in the shot put with a fourth-place mark of 13.73 meters. White's throw of 10.94 meters put her in 15th. Waite added a 13th-place throw of 35.33 meters in the discus.

Samara Brinks tossed the hammer 47.66 meters to finish in eighth place. Waite placed 12th with a mark of 43.01 meters. Olivia Davidson was fifth in the javelin with a throw of 33.24 meters, while Waite finished ninth at 30.06 meters.

The Lady Flames return to action next weekend in the Lee University – Fast Break Athletics Invitational. The meet is scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Ray Conn Sports Complex.
