CLEVELAND, Tenn. - After a strong performance at the University of Tenneesse Invitational, Lee University freshman field athlete Gracie Waite won two weekly awards from the Gulf South Conference. As announced by the league on Wednesday, Waite was the GSC field athlete and freshman of the week.
She had a 13.73-meter toss in the shot put. She set a school record and has the top distance in the GSC.
