BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After scoring a game tying goal and leading the Lee University women's soccer team to a shutout win, Isabella Valentine was named the Gulf South Conference defender of the week.

Valentine played 162 minutes this week in the two games. She had the game tying goal against #13 University of North Georgia. She scored on her only shot of the week. She also helped the Lee defense shutout Tusculum University.
