RESULTS

ATLANTA – The Lee University women's track & field team competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational in their final preparation for the 2026 GSC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Lady Flames exited George C. Griffin Track with two new NCAA Division II provisional marks, while compiling four top five finishes.

 
Provisional Qualifying Performances:

• Maddox Mayfield met the provisional qualifying time of 55.49 seconds with a time of 54.37 seconds but did not improve upon her 54.32-second performance at the Lee University Fast Break Athletics Invitational.
• Maria Mitchell completed the 800-meter run in 2:09.85 to beat the provisional mark of 2:11.25. Her time is No. 33 among all DII runners this season.
• Aria Hawkins and Maria Mitchell each met the provisional time (4:28.93) of the 1500-meter run. Hawkins' 4:19.84 did not improve upon her time of 4:18.64 at the Lee University Fast Break Athletics Invitational. Mitchell's time of 4:20.06 is the seventh-fast in the event this season.

Coming Up:
The Lady Flames are set to compete at the 2026 GSC Outdoor Track & Field Championship April 30-May 2. The University of Montevallo will host at the Montevallo Track & Field Stadium in Montevallo, Alabama.
