BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After helping lead the Lee University women's soccer team to a 2-0 week, Emma Nelson was named the Gulf South Conference player of the week.

Nelson had two goals this week in the two wins over UWA and UM. She took four shots with three on goal. Her goal was the final goal in the  4-2 win over Montevallo.

This week Lee goes to Trevecca Nazarene University and then returns home on Saturday to take on Mississippi Christian University.
