Jessica Childers has been named Lee University's Female Athlete of the Week after leading the Lady Flames track team last weekend at the Mountain Laurel Invitational in Sewanee, Tenn.

Childers paced four Lady Flames in the 800 meter run with a top time of 2:18.40. Prugh was sixth (2:27.83), Madison Riddle was eighth (2:32.11) and Moneque Beckford was 10^th (2:45.08).

Childers also placed first in the 1500 meter run with a mark of 4:52.18. The junior from Englewood, Ohio added a third top two finish with a time of 10:36.65 in the 3000 meter run.

Childers and the Lady Flames will now gear up for the National Christian College Athletic Association Outdoor Track and Field Championship from Rome, Ga. on Apr. 30-May 2.
