Ben Holland has been named Lee University's Male Athlete of the Week after a superb showing at the National Christian College Athletic Association World Series in Mason, Ohio.

Holland tallied 11 hits in six games as the Flames finished second to Fresno Pacific in the four day tournament.

The junior first baseman drove in 10 runs, ripped five doubles and hit a solo homer in the championship game to wrap up the 2014-15 season. 

The native of Murfeesboro, Tenn. hit .335 on the year with 12 home runs, 15 doubles and 49 RBI. Lee finished the year 39-19-1 in its final year of the NCAA Division II transition process.
