Lee junior pitcher Justin Alleman has been named the Lee University Male Athlete of the Week.

Justin Alleman (5-3) hurled a one-hit shutout to give the Flames a 5-0 victory in the nightcap. The junior right-hander struck out eight and walked only one Bulldog hitter in his most dominating performance of the season.

Alleman, a native of Holt, Mich. and former Michigan State Spartan, has recorded 58 punchouts in just 54 innings pitched this season.

Alleman will look to help the Flames make it seven straight Gulf South Conference victories as they host Christian Brothers from Olympic Field on Saturday at 2 p.m.
