BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Lee women's soccer team was rewarded by the Gulf South Conference (GSC) this week after scoring impressive wins over West Alabama (6-0), and Alabama Huntsville (5-1) as senior midfielder Kinsey Cichowitz was named the GSC Player of the Week.

Cichowitz punched in the hat trick (3 goals) in the West Alabama win. She now has 10 goals and 21 point total heading into the big assignment against Mississippi College on Friday, followed by Senior Day on Sunday when Delta State visits for the Lee Soccer Field.

Hustling all over the pitch, Cichowitz came back with a pair of goals in the victory over UAH. 

The Lady Flames are 7-1 and hold down second place in the GSC team standings. Coach Chris Hennessey's club is 10-2-1 overall. The key battle with Mississippi is slated for 7 p.m. on Friday. The Lee men kicks off the doubleheader at 5.
