Women's soccer player McKenzie Bricker has been named the Lee University Female Athlete of the Week.

The junior from Collierville, Tenn. scored both goals for the Lady Flames in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to Rollins College in the NCAA Division II National Tournament opening match. Lee held a 2-0 lead thanks to the two first half goals from Bricker but saw the lead slip away late in regulation and ultimately fell to the Tars with just two seconds remaining in the first overtime period.

Bricker and the Lady Flames end a very successful season at 14-3-2 and were 11-1 in the Gulf South Conference. Bricker was named to second team All-GSC and finished the year with seven goals and six assists while providing a tough defense pressure for her left back position.
