Men's basketball guard Parker Sudekum has been named the Lee University Male Athlete of the Week.

The freshman from Brentwood, Tenn. had 14 points on 4 of 5 shooting from the field in a 76-72 loss to Valdosta State on Saturday at Walker Arena.

“Parker comes from a very successful program in Brentwood Academy that won the State Championship last year. He’s a guy that loves to compete and knows how to win.,” said head coach Bubba Smith.

Sudekum and the Flames currently sit at 7-6 overall and 3-4 in the Gulf South Conference. Lee will travel to West Tennessee to battle Christian Brothers in Memphis on Thursday and Union in Jackson on Saturday afternoon.
