Senior forward Keevin Tyus  has been named the Lee University Male Athlete of the Week.

The native of Cincinnati, Ohio led the Flames in scoring in both contests this week. On Thursday Tyus poured in 22 points and grabbed five rebounds in Lee's 83-66 loss at North Alabama.

Tyus followed that up with a double-double against Alabama Huntsville on Saturday. The forward had 12 points and 10 rebounds as the Flames dropped a shootout to the Chargers, 101-94.

Tyus leads the team with 17.7 points per game and averages seven rebounds per contest. The Flames will be back on the home court on Thursday to host rival Union University at 8 p.m. before entertaining Christian Brothers at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
