Lady Flames track runner Jessica Gullette has been named the Lee University Female Athlete of the Week after a successful week finishing second at the Emory Invitational.

Gullette, a senior from Englewood, Ohio, won the 800 meter run with a time of 2:16.87. 

"This was one of the best all-around meets we have ever had," said Lee head coach Caleb Morgan. "Big wins for the women's team over Shorter (last year's Peach Belt Conference champions) and West Georgia (last year's Gulf South Conference champions)."

Next up for Gullette and the Lady Flames is the Tennessee Rust Buster hosted by the University of Tennessee at Knoxville on Saturday.
