Baseball senior Geremy Walton has been named the Lee University Male Athlete of the Week.

Walton hit .583 in four games last week. The center fielder was 7 for 12 with a double and a run scored. 

On the season the Atlanta, Ga. native leads the team with a .402 average, six home runs, nine doubles, two triples and 23 RBI. Walton is slugging .646 and has a .453 on base percentage.

The Flames return to the diamond on Saturday for the annual Military Appreciation Day as they host Union at 2 p.m. The activities honoring the veterans of Bradley County will get under way at 1 p.m. at Olympic Field.
