For the second straight week Lee cross country standout Christian Noble has been named the GSC Runner of the Week the league office announced on Wednesday.

Noble paced the No. 17^th-ranked Flames at the Stegemoller Classic in Evansville, Ind. The Pre-Nationals 8K race was held at Angel Mounds State Park, the site of the 2017 NCAA DII National Championship.

"This was a great opportunity for us to see how the nationals course will run," said Lee head Caleb Morgan. "We ran against several ranked teams that we don't see very often during the regular season."

Christian Noble was the first Lee runner across the finish line. The sophomore from Greenfield, Ind. stopped the clock at 24:50.5 for a seventh place finish.
