Lee men's soccer goalkeeper Tristen Putnam has been named the Lee University Male Athlete of the Week.

The senior from Forney, Texas allowed just one goal over the weekend as the Flames split with Christian Brothers and Union.

Putnam allowed one goal and face seven shots in Friday's 1-0 loss at CBU but bounced back with seven big saves in posting a 1-0 shutout vitory at Union on Sunday afternoon.

Putnam boasts a 0.72 goals against average and has registered 38 saves and three shutouts on the year. He and the Flames will host rival Shorter University on Friday night at 7 p.m.
