BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Following the first competition of the 2018 season, Christian Noble was named the Gulf South Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for his performance on Saturday at the Montevallo Falcon Classic.

Noble placed third overall and was the top non-Division I finisher with a time of 24:50.37. He helped the Flames earn a second place finish in the 8K event.

The Flames are off this weekend and return to action on September 29 in the Greater Louisville Classic at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park.
