BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the third time this season, Lee University's Chloe Flora has been named the GSC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. She also earned the honor on September 19 and October 3.

Flora completed the 5K distance of the Royals XC Challenge with a time of 17:29 to place her eighth in a field of 412 runners. Her time helped the Lady Flames finish fifth in the event.

The junior's three selections trails only Audrey Smith among Lee University runners. Smith earned the award four times during the 2016 season and completed her career as a five-time selection. Kelley Bahn of West Florida and Bailee Miller of Arkansas Tech had also earned the honor five times. Vicky Winslow of Alabama Huntsville tops the list as a nine-time selection.

The Lady Flames return to action on November 3 with the Gulf South Conference Championship. The 6K championship will be hosted by Mississippi College at Choctaw Trails in Jackson, Miss.
