Jenna Adams has been named Lee University's Female Athlete of the Week after leading the Lady Flames to two non-conference victories over Auburn-Montgomery and Carson-Newman.

Adams was instrumental in Lee's 82-56 home victory over NAIA-foe AUM before the Thanksgiving break. The junior forward led all scorers with 23 points while grabbing 12 rebounds. Adams showed her range nailing six 3-pointers in the first half.

The Englewood, Tenn. native followed that performance up with another double-double effort (20,11) in Lee's convincing 82-66 road victory over NCAA Division II rival Carson-Newman on Tuesday (Dec. 3). Adams was 7-of-14 from the field and 4-of-8 from behind-the-arc.

The two victories move the Lady Flames to a perfect 3-0 on the young season. Adams will lead Lee to Dahlonega, Ga. to test North Georgia on Saturday at 3 p.m.
