Lee University left fielder Dominique Hannah has been named the National Christian College Athletic Association Softball Student-Athlete of the Week after guiding the Lady Flames to a series victory over West Georgia last weekend.

Hannah delivered all weekend long at the plate as the Lady Flames took 2 out of 3 from GSC-rival West Georgia. The outfielder hit a grand slam with two outs in the third inning to help propel Lee to a 6-3 victory over the Wolves in last Sunday's series finale.

In Saturday's doubleheader split Hannah went 4-for-7 and scored two runs. The junior is now hitting .344 on the season while scoring 12 runs and driving in 11.

Hannah is an Exercise Science major from Nashville, Tenn. Last year's NAIA Player of the Year is the second softball player (Annabeth Pruett) to garner the national honor this season.

Hannah and the Lady Flames will travel to Bryan College on Wednesday (Mar. 5) for a non-conference doubleheader before opening up a three-game conference set with West Alabama beginning Saturday at Butler Field.
