The Lee University tennis squads wrapped up their final season in the NAIA by gaining their share of accolades from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Both the men and women's programs placed seventh in the ITA's 2013 Top 10 All-Academic Team awards.
Five members of coach Tony Cavett's women's squad received individual honors. Freshman Maclain Yowarsky, sophomore Kelsey Lovingood, sophomore Jodie Rice, sophomore Tonya Walters and junior Annie Sandberg were rewarded for their academic accomplishments.
Lead by junior Richard Gamble, the Flames also placed freshman Daniel Hardesty and junior Andre Ishida on the academic listing.
