After a scoreless battle for over 86 minutes, Karin Bernet scored on an assist from Elizabet Madjarac to give NAIA power Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) a 1-0 exhibition match win over the Lee women's soccer team on a cold Monday evening at the Lee Soccer Field.

The defensive struggle saw both sides limited on scoring attempts. The Lady Flames were limited to only four shots and one was on goal. Johanna Henriksson was credited with a save. The Blue Raiders fired nine shots and placed three on target. Lee keeper Marbel Egwuenu had two saves before Bernet connected on the winner.

The Lady Flames held a 4-1 advantage on corner kicks and came close to producing the tying goal in the final three minutes.

Seniors Alison Braun, Rachel Cox, Marbel Egwuenu, Kathryn Healy, Brianna Prugh, Michelle Spangler and family members were honored at halftime. They will join with their teammates and coaching staff to wait for the NCCAA Mid-East Region pairing to be announced. The Lady Flames will likely host Campbellsville (Ky.) for the right to earn a spot in the NCCAA National Championship.
