Tennis Hosts 40 Kids At Free Clinic

The Lee University Men's and Women's Tennis programs, under the direction of fifth-year head coach Patric Hynes, hosted a tennis clinic at the DeVos Tennis Center earlier this month.

The clinic was offered free of charge and open to kids ages 7-18. In total, 40 kids were in attendance. Campers received instruction from not only Hynes, but from current members of the tennis squads.

"We had a great time hosting this clinic," said Hynes. "The players were responsible for planning and running all the drills; and they did a fantastic job. They deserve all the credit for ensuring everything ran so smoothly. We want to give back to our community and this was a great way for us to do just that."

The Flames and Lady Flames open the 2019 season on Friday, February 8, in Due West, S.C., against Erskine College. Their home opener is scheduled for February 14 against Carson-Newman University.
