¡Hola Amigos!
Well the time has come for the last blog of the trip. Today was our last full day and we started off by going back to Pasitos to love on our girls one last time. Then we went into Santo Domingo for the straw market and to sight see. After an exciting tourist day, we headed back to the hotel to relax by the pool one last time.
Even though this trip is hard to put into words we are going to try our best. Although we came down to impact other's lives, we feel as if our hearts will be forever changed. Every night we got the chance to come together as a team and reflect on each day. In doing that we got to know each other on a deeper level and connect through our stories.
Each day got better and better which made it harder to leave each place we went because of the bonds we created with these people. Something really special happened today when Franchesca, a player from the Dominican National Team, shared her story with us. She felt lead to share her story with us because she witnessed our love of God and being so caring towards others.
This week has been an incredible experience for us to grow as a team and growing through our faith. We appreciate your support financially, emotionally, and spiritually. This will be a trip that we will never forget. We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
