JACKSON, Tenn. - The postseason awards continued for Anna Muhonen. She was named to the D2CCA Second Team All-South Region. team. Earlier, she was a  First Team All-Gulf South Conference. The Cleveland, Tenn. native led the Lee University women's basketball team this season. It is the first time that Muhonen has received the recognition. It is the seventh season in a row that the Lady Flames have had a least one player on the D2CCA All-South Region team.

UAH's Lili Wilken has been selected as the 2026 D2CCA South Region Player of the Year. 

Muhonen has been one of the best players in the league this year. She was named the GSC player of the week three tines. She a career season this year. Muhonen has 465 points this season with 258 rebounds. She has 1235 career points and 655 career rebounds.

She is third in the GSC in scoring all while not attempting a single three-point shot. She is also third in rebounds in the GSC. She is shooting 50% from the field and is fifth best in that category. She has eight double-doubles on the season. She leads the GSC in blocks per game and is first in total blocks.
