BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After a solid showing at the Lucian Rosa Invitational in Wisconsin this past week, Lee University freshman Chris Ross was named Gulf South Conference freshman of the week.

The No. 6 Lee University Flames placed third Saturday morning at the 8K. In the DII national championship preview,  Ross crossed the line at 25:50.40 for a 51st place finish.
