LAKELAND, Fla. - Lee's Cody Turner is listed as a first-team utility player and pitcher on the 2026 D2CCA All-South Region Team. As a first baseman and designated hitter Turner batter .354. with 12 doubles, 12 home runs and 57 RBIs in 192 plate appearances. As a pitcher he appeared in 21 games, started four and worked 44 total innings with an ERA of .354 and six saves.
Zack Stokes, an outfielder with West Florida, was no doubt the All-GSC and All-South Player of the Year, while Adrian Byrd, a crafty left-handed for Delta State, walked away with the All-South Pitcher of the Year honors.
The Flames had three outstanding performers on the All-South Second Team. Evan Bloomer finished with a 9-0 record on the mound. He threw over 99 innings and had a 3.61 ERA with 15 starts during the season. He recorded 84 strikeouts and walked only 18.
Luke Collier was the Lee leader in almost every category. He hit .404, scored 73 runs, posted 93 hits, 16 doubles, 7 triples and 70 RBIs. Second baseman Landon Franklin batted .333 with 13 doubles, and 38 RBIs.
Tampa placed five players on the D2CCA All-South Region Teams and Lee joined West Florida with four apiece.
