GREENSBORO, N.C. - Three Lee baseball players have been announced as members of the 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year. Selections were voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and coordinated by the
ABCA NCAA Div. II All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.
Flames' shortstop Luke Collier and utility man Cody Turner were first-team members while pitcher Evan Bloomer is on the second club. Collier had an outstanding senior season at the play, .404 batting average, 73 runs, 93 hits, 7 triples, and 70 RBIs – all team leaders.
Turner was called on to play first base and serve as a designated hitter. He posted a .354 average with 68 hits, 12 HR, and 57 RBIs. The lefty also went to the mound 21 times and had .345 ERA, 3 wins and 6 saves in 44 innings.
Bloomer, a strong righthanded workhorse, made 15 starts for the Lee pitching staff and recorded a perfect 9-0 record and a 3.61 ERA over 99.2 innings. He struck out 84 hitters and allowed only 18 walks.
